It’s a team work, being present all the time is not easy but possible. Both brewery and fields require time and energy, but by joining our forces and skills we can face the more and more increasing commitments.
Organic farming means ensuring to find the in each glass a clean beer, respectful of the environment. Moreover we do not use synthetic chemicals (weeding is always made mechanically, never with chemicals).
Each time you drink Kauss you know you chose a product with deep roots, respectful of the land and of its pace and timing; that’s why, season after season, we switch between cultivated varieties in order to avoid soil stress and depletion and hence to revitalize it.
In the area
around the Monviso Mountain you could come across sings as this one, where you
can see the fields in which we cultivate barley and other raw materials which
will become beer. Thanks to the direct carrying out of the farming operations
we can grant the safety and genuineness od the ingredients: from the purchase
of the seed to the mix of products to fertilize, we are always on the field.
The intermediate passage, the transformation of barley into malt, is made in selected family-run malt-houses with which a relationship of trust and friendship was established over the years. Located partly in Piedmont and partly in Germany, these realities assure us high-quality, customized and accurate processes.
